The Montessori Method of education is a model which serves the physical, emotional, social, and intellectual needs of children of all levels of mental and physical ability as they live and learn in a natural, mixed-age group which is very much like the society they will live in as adults.
Maria Montessori believed that children could learn a great deal more than expected if the learning environment were properly prepared for their needs and interests. Through her work she developed a method which is now referred to as the Montessori Method. The Montessori method is an integrated approach to education that takes into account individual variations in a child's development and focuses on educating the whole child.

What is the cost of doing this?
The cost is very low. $10 up front cost for art/snack costs. We also want to go on a few field trips but the costs will be very minimal. If you would like to create some of the Montessori activities for your home, then those would come out of individual pockets.
Our goal is to give the kids a loving environment to explore with using what we have on hand or using the minimalist of expenses.
