A Co-ed 6 on 6 volleyball league will be offered this fall. Registration will begin August 1st and go through August 29th or until filled. Registration is limited to the first eight (8) teams that register. Games will be played on Wednesday night's beginning September 16th. League fee incluedes 8 league games and a double elimination tournament.

Hershey's Track and Field Competition

Saturday, June 12

REGISTRATION: Day of Event at PGHS Track & Field

FREE

This track and field meet is a free local competition for all children aged 9-14 sponsored by Hershey’s Track and Field Games

Participants will compete in his/her own age and gender groups and will have the opportunity to go on to the district level of competition if his/her performance qualifies for such.

Unlike regular track club meets, in this sponsored event, participants can only participate in three events. Two track and one field event or two field and one track event. A participant cannot compete in three track events. A relay is considered a track event. Spikes or shoes designed for spikes are not allowed on the track for this meet.

Jewelry, hair beads and decoration and sun glasses (except prescription) are not allowed.

Men's Fall Slow Pitch Softball

REGISTRATION: June 1 - Until Filled

SEASON: Start of August - October

FEE: $550/Team

Lower Division will play on Tuesday nights, and the Upper Division will play on Thursday nights with each team playing 2 games per night. The season will end with a double elimination tournament in each division.

Co-ed Fall Slow Pitch Softball

REGISTRATION: May 1 - until filled

SEASON: Start of August - End of October

TEAM FEE: $400

Teams will play four games to determine which division they will play. Following the “preseason” games, the regular season will begin with division play on Monday and Wednesday. Two divisions will play on Monday nights with two games each night and one division will play on Wednesday nights in the same format of two games a night. After the completion of the regular season, each division will play a double elimination tournament.

Hit, Pitch, and Run Competition

Saturday, April 24

Registration: Day of Event @ Manila Ball Park

Free

7-14 yr old boys and girls in 4 age groups.

The Pitch: Try to hit the “Strike Zone” target from 45 feet away!

The Hit: Bat from a tee to see how far and straight into center field you can get!

The Run: Sprint from second to home without sliding to see how fast you can make it!

Winners from each category and age group move on to the sectional competition!

2010 TIMP CLASSIC GIRLS FAST PITCH TOURNAMENT (Accelerated Division only)

Teams must be registered by June 11, 2010 for Timp Classic. There must be a minimum of 8 teams registered for each division. You can register online beginning February 1st or fill out the PDF registration form below to be mailed in with a check to Pleasant Grove Recreation, 547 South Locust Avenue, Pleasant Grove, Ut 84062

Each division will play 2 pool play games (beginning Friday) which will determine seeding for a double elimination tournament. Each team guaranteed 4 games. If you have any questions, contact Doreen @ Pleasant Grove Recreation 801-785-6172.
