Weight Loss Challenge 2 begins

Pleasant Grove is encouraging everyone to GET UP AND MOVE to a healthier year. Monthly challenges include BINGO Fitness Fun and a Climb Challenge. Those who complete the challenges are eligible for monthly prize drawings.

The monthly Climb Challenge is open to everyone and will feature a different climb/hike location throughout the state. You don’t even have to travel to the mountain, because every 20 minutes of any kind of exercise, anywhere, is equal to one mile.

The BINGO Fitness Fun is open to anyone who wishes to participate in classes and activities at the Community Recreation Center.

Writing Short Stories with Angie Lofthouse

Angie Lofthouse has published a dozen sci-fi and fantasy short stories in such publications as NFG, AlienSkin, Amazing Journeys, The Sword Review, Dragons, Knights and Angels, Irreantum, and Unparalleled Journeys. She is an editor for Mindflights Magazine. Her sci-fi adventure novel, Defenders of the Covenant, will be out in March 2012.

She lives in a little canyon in the foothills of the Wasatch Mountains with her family of writers, artists, singers, composers, illustrators and musicians.
