Gateway Village Clubhouse
Here's how it works:
1) For each kid that will be participating bring 12 eggs. So if you have 3 kids, bring 36 eggs. Plastic, hard boiled, whatever you want. MAKE SURE YOUR LAST NAME IS ON EACH EGG. Then we know what family the egg belongs to.
2) For each egg you bring, you need to bring that many prizes to the hunt. So if you brought 24 eggs, you would also bring 24 prizes. The prizes can be really simple. Suckers, candy, stickers. Nothing expensive, really.
3) Meet at the Gateway Clubhouse on Saturday, April 7th, at 9:30 SHARP. Bring yourself, your kids, your spouse if they are available, your eggs, and your prizes. And obviously something for the kids to put their eggs/prizes into.
4) When everyone is gathered, the dads will head over to the Church and hide the eggs outside. When they are done, the rest of us will walk over to the Church, and each kid gets to find 12 eggs.
5) After all the eggs are found, we will then either stay there if the weather is good (cross your fingers), or head back to the clubhouse if the weather is crummy. Then each kid gets to exchange their eggs for the prizes you brought. They will take each egg back to whoever brought it (hence the reason we need the family name on it) and get their prize from the family.
Simple, but really fun! The kids have liked it in the past and it is a fun way to get together for an hour or so on Easter weekend.
