Visiting the islands of the Pacific may not be as far a dream as it seems. Multicultural Student Services and the Celebration of Culture Program invite all to experience the spirit of Polynesia at the annual Lu’au. The event is held on two nights to accommodate all who wish to witness the spectacular display of culture.
Students of all ethnicities representing our university have joined together to learn dances from five of the Polynesian Islands: Hawai’i, Tahiti, Tonga, Samoa and New Zealand. The anticipated Lu’au will leave you breathless as the culture and unique stories of each island are told through song and dance.
