Based on the 1952 MGM film, this romantic musical comedy is set in 1920’s Hollywood, when movie studios were struggling with the transition from silent pictures to “talkies.” A silent–era matinee idol, Don Lockwood, meets a struggling young movie extra, Kathy Selden - and a romance develops, irritating Don’s screechy voiced co–star, Lina Lamont. This lighthearted classic is filled with zany fun, incredible dance numbers and songs including Good Mornin’, All I Do Is Dream of You, Make ‘Em Laugh and more. Directed by Jerry Elison. Music Direction by Martha Glissmeyer. Choreography by Sunny Watts. Presented by KOSY 106.5.
