GO TO BAT! BEHAVIOR AND TRAINING 101

Join us for a week of fun as we explore what it takes to keep the minds and bodies of both the Zoo’s animals and visitors happy. Take part in animal enrichment activities, learn how the animals are trained at the Zoo, how this messaging can be shared with Zoo visitors, and take part in the Discovery Theater Animal Shows. You’ll go home with an understanding not only of how the staff enriches the lives of the Zoo’s animals but how you can better train and enrich the lives of your own pets!
Restrictions:
- Participants must submit a current(within three months of camp date) and certified negative TB test two weeks prior to camp. Please download and complete this form.
- Participants must wear weather appropriate clothing and shoes that can get dirty and wet. Shoes must have closed toes and heels must be covered.
- Due to the nature of the program camp is limited to 15 participants.
