Many have taken advantage of the plots available by the church building to start family gardens and it's been so much fun. It's great to see all of the people out there, by themselves or with their families. So much green is showing up all over and some plants are beginning to produce! It's wonderful when you put so much work into something to see the fruits of your labors. Many people are meeting new friends and getting to socialize with neighbors we maybe don't see as often as we would like and overall it's been a great experience.
If you haven't taken advantage of a plot it's not to late...yet...
You can still get a plot for $20 and that includes your drip line and water. It's too late to plant many seeds, but you could still get starts or start thinking about a Fall crop. This is for anyone! You do not have to be a member of the church.
