To Kill a Mockingbird

May 6 - Jun. 19

Intended as a "simple love story," Harper Lee's book and its stage adaptation are indeed about the love between a tomboy, Scout, and her friend, Dill. But this quintessential American story explores different types of love on a much broader and deeper level: familial love, neighborly love, the love of honor, duty and goodness, along with the knowledge that in the end, love will triumph over cruelty and hatred. This is a play that should be seen and revisited time after glorious time.
