• Tractor-pulled wagon rides to a witch’s train car home. Times to be announced.
• Wee Witches Costume Parades at noon, 2, 4 and 6 pm. (these are not contests)
• Witches scavenger hunt
• Caramel apples and food, food, food!
• Petting zoo, pony rides, witchy hair and nails, crafts in many of our shops and more! 

Some activities may have nominal charges.

The Monster Block Party is family-friendly halloween party for Salt Lake City's goblins and ghouls of all ages.  Though it was cancelled in 2009, it has been brought back from the dead!

There will be trick-or-treating booths, a costume contest with prizes, arts & crafts, a pumpkin drop, live performances, Do-It-Yourself photo booths and more!

Keeper Camp

Do you dream about animals? Do you think measuring, scrubbing, sweeping and interacting with wild animals are good ways to spend your day? Have you always wanted to be a zookeeper? Well, here is your chance to see if you have what it takes. Come to the Zoo for a hands-on, behind the scenes, fun-filled day. Participants will spend their day with a staff member preparing animal diets, cleaning exhibits and creating enrichment for some of our animals. We will provide lunch, a T-shirt and a Keeper-tastic time!

Restrictions:

• Participants must submit a current (within three months of camp date) and certified negative TB test two weeks prior to camp. Please download and complete this form.
• Participants must wear weather appropriate clothing and shoes that can get dirty and wet. Shoes must have closed toes and heels must be covered.
• Due to the nature of the program each camp is limited to 4 participants.

The Utah Premiere Brass reflects an early tradition of brass bands that once dominated nearly every Utah community.  Today, UPB is the only British-style brass band in Utah. Under the direction of Dr. Todd Fiegel, the Utah Premiere Brass consists of thirty prfessional musiciams from around the state.

The brilliant blend of UPB's traditional brass instruments features remarkable ranges of whisper-soft passages to mighty fortissimos, lightning-fast phrases to beautifully potent melodies, and glorious timbres to breathless climaxes.  Experience the rich musical heritage of brass that is unlike any other cultural tradition.
