Utah’s original corn maze is embarking on an out-of-this-world adventure this fall and you’re invited to come along! Each year, Cornbelly’s features a new maze design and this year’s promises to be one of the best yet! Cornbelly’s Corn Maze & Pumpkin Fest at Thanksgiving Point was selected as one of a handful of “Space Farms” working with NASA to honor the U.S. space program! The 2011 space maze design is filled with the twists, turns, and surprises you’ve come to expect and as always, surrounded by tons of extra activities sure to entertain.
Intrepid guests are invited to venture into the newly imagined Insanity Point, a separate, heart-thumping section of the Cornbelly’s filled with nooks and crannies hiding figures from your worst nightmares. Walk through the belly of the fearsome creature. Hurry through haunted trailers filled with horrific scenes.

Our own Liza Bryan is a member of this quartet. 
She is the 2nd Violinist of the Dolce String Quartet.  
Eliza has been playing the violin for twenty-five years and began teaching the violin in High School.  
She studied Violin Performance during her undergraduate degree at the BYU Idaho where she eventually graduated with her Business degree.

Kick off the official start of autumn at Thanksgiving Point by celebrating at the 2nd Annual Harvest Festival. Guests are invited to peruse locally-harvested fruits and vegetables and shop for locally-made products.

Friday evening a Quick Draw (timed painting) competition will delight the crowds while artists race to make a masterpiece in 90 minutes.

On Saturday, community favorite Utah’s Giant Pumpkin Growers will bring their year’s biggest and best pumpkins to be weighed and judged in the U.G.P.G 8th Annual Giant Pumpkin Weigh-off. Last year’s winner set a new state record- spectators will watch in suspense to see it happen again. Live music on Friday and Saturday, as well as themed crafts on Saturday are sure to create a memorable atmosphere.

Containing a diverse range of artworks from around the world, Color explores the relationship of color to artists, audiences, and itself. This exhibition utilizes over twenty pieces from the UMFA's permanent collection, using color as a connector across cultures and time. This exhibition includes works by artists Robert Motherwell, Alex Katz, Anna Campbell Bliss, and more. While visiting the exhibition, be sure to use the hands on, in-gallery color collage wall to create your own color compositions. This exhibition is funded as part of the UMFA's Art in a Box program and is presented in conjunction with the debut of the new statewide box, Art in a Box: Color.
